Various of substrates to choose from include art paper, gloss paper, matt white paper, PP, PE, each substrate comes with permanent or removable adhesive depending on the application.

Aluminium blister foil is suitable for hard packing of medical and pharmaceutical products such as pills; capsules and tablets.  Typical thickness of aluminium blister foil is 23 - 30 microns depending on customer's requirements.   

Thermal transfer ribbons are typically used with blank self-adhesive labels, generally 3 types of thermal transfer ribbons are used - Wax, wax-resin or resin ribbon depending on customer's requirements.

For cost-efficient label printing, wax ribbon works well and is the most suitable for gneral purpose label printing.

Wax-resin ribbon is more suitable when using synthetic substrate such as Polypropolene with moderate level of water and chemical resistance. 

Resin ribbon is more suitable when using synthetic substrate such as polypropolene and PET subbstrate,  however since more heat on print head is required therefore it may reduce the print head usage period.
